Do I get the same cleaner every time? Yes. Unlike an agency, we prioritize consistency. Because our cleaners are permanent employees, we aim to send the same person to your home for every visit, allowing them to learn your preferences and build a trusted relationship with you.
Are you an agency? No. We are a direct employer. This is a core part of our values - every member of our team is a permanent employee with full legal rights and fair pay. This ensures a much higher level of commitment, security, and quality for our clients.
Do I need to provide cleaning supplies and equipment? Yes. To ensure we use the products you know and trust, and to prevent any cross-contamination between homes, we ask that you provide your preferred cleaning supplies and a vacuum cleaner. This keeps your home smelling exactly the way you like it.
Are you insured? Absolutely. For your peace of mind, Cleaning for Joy is fully covered by comprehensive public liability insurance (please see certification below). We treat your home with the utmost care, but we are fully protected just in case.
Do I need to be home when you clean? That is entirely up to you. Many of our clients provide us with a key or a code for secure entry, while others prefer to be home. We are happy to work around whatever makes you feel most comfortable.
How do you handle house keys? Your security is our priority. Any keys entrusted to us are kept secure and are never labeled with your full address. Only your dedicated cleaner and our management team have access to them.
What areas do you cover? We currently provide our professional cleaning services to homes in Welwyn Garden City and the surrounding Hertfordshire areas.
How do I pay for my cleaning? We keep things simple and modern. Payments are typically made via bank transfer on the day of your clean. We will provide you with all the necessary details during your initial quote.
What happens if I need to skip or reschedule a clean? We understand that life happens! We simply ask for 48 hours notice for any cancellations or changes so we can manage our team’s schedule fairly.
